Hermeneutics Commons–A New Hermeneutics Website

Here’s a new project that I’ve had the pleasure to be involved with that I am sure readers of this blog will want to check out: Hermeneutics Commons, a website that promotes the integration and collaboration of hermeneutics initiatives globally.

The “About” link on the homepage provides more background information about the project—including the organizing group—and the “Help” link will assist your navigation of the site, including the availability of its presentation in different languages.

Registration is not required but will allow you to become an active participant. As the “About” section indicates, the platform will thrive only to the degree that you and other colleagues make the initiative your own and contribute to it.

We hope the site becomes a resource for hermeneutics activity, including announcements of existing and new bibliography, organizations, institutes, journals, conferences, seminars, teaching materials, and other hermeneutic-related work. The site additionally includes a link summarizing the responses to our hermeneutics survey that will help guide our future work.

Through the platform we will also send out a monthly newsletter keeping registrants informed of new activity.
